On mine, we welded the holes shut, and grinded them down, then bondo'ed them, and smoothed everything for paint..
Painting it to match would be pretty cool too though..

Tailgate Holes
Any bright ideas on what to do with the tailgate holes? I removed my cap to get rid of the black and hate to repaint the whole tailgate just to get rid of those four little holes. Should I just paint the cap and reinstall or do you have some other bright ideas?

the painted cap is like $25 bucks and the SS cap is like $180, big price difference
