I'm planning on welding up my tailgate using a skin. I'm also going to be doing a body drop over the winter. I would like to get all of my exterior body work done and painted back gray by heatwave. If i weld the skin on now, will it still be possible to do the bd, or will it make it harder to do?

Thanks
Trey

Personally, I would wait. I would think it'd be harder to work on it if it was all welded shut, JMO. Are you planning to raise the floor or sectioning the inner bed sides?

It does seem to me that it could get in the way...if it were me, id wait and do the easier things last...esp exterior things that are fairly easy...

Thanks! I think I'll wait just to be on the safe side! Groundscraper- I plan on sectioning the bed sides.
