I got a transmission temp. gauge and I have a question about wiring it. I know wire goes from sending unit to the S on the gauge, Grd goes to ground on truck, but then I need a 12 V source...what would be best to splice into? I have an aftermarket radio and an amp and stuff...but what would be easiest so the gauge isnt on all the time, and hopefully so I dont have to get a fuse?

Take the belly pad off, then remove the metal bracket under the steering wheel. There's a harness with 12 gauge wires going up to the key. Tap into the pink wire. That's ignition power.
