Plenty of people have this BL. I see questions posted about it weekly. So let's try to keep this one running as a reference for other members...

How did the install go?
What did/didn't you disconnect according to the directions?
What gave you issues?
Any personal suggestions?
Bumper bracket tips?
How long did it take you?
Recommend a helping hand?

I'm all ears myself as I have scoured no less than a dozen threads on this kit and have run across conflicting information. Have it in my eBay shopping cart currently.

So if you installed this kit yourself, give us a rundown...

I know Zone Has excellent instructions, but they also want you to dismantle your truck like a reverse-assembly line project...

Pictures are always helpful. Tools needed. Etc...

Carry on... :derp:

Been contemplating this install myself.

How much are you getting it for on ebay? With or without rear bumper brackets? I know if you go through Zone on here you get a good deal.

Not a bad install at all. I installed it on my old sierra in a couple hours. I bought both the bumper brackets just to make it easier. I got it through zone using the forum discount, didn't really look anywhere else.

Justin, I know for a fact we could knock it out in a few hours. Let me know if you end up getting it

eBay = $204

That's including the rear bumper brackets as well.

Not hard at all. Like Bumpers said, It takes about as long to do the front bumper as it does to do everything else combined. Took me maybe 4 hrs, and I was doing it solo and cleaning stuff along the way.
I didn't bother unhooking most of the stuff they say to in the instructions. Once you get under there and start, it's pretty self explanatory on what you do/don't have to unhook.

I haven't seen that kit for a NBS truck. Have I overlooked it?

U didn't specify what year, just the bl. The 1.25 isn't for nbs iirc
Yeah... Some guy on the Tahoe/Yukon forum used it on a NBS Z71 Tahoe. He made all the bumper adjustments himself. I suppose pucks are pucks..

Just ordered my zone 1.5" for my z71 with some 1.5" wheel spacers...

Assuming it will arrive around Saturday(ish)...

Prolly tackle it first thing Monday morning.

I'll post my thoughts and issues as I go through the install.

Busted a clip? What clip?

You left your parking brake hooked up as well?

The only thing I'm fuzzy about at this point is:

Do you need to drop your spare? Does that make it easier?

The front bumper brackets... Hopefully it's as straightforward as most claim.

Easy install, just make sure to measure twice when doing the rear bumper and cut once

Didn't realize there was any cutting for the rear bumper on NBS?

Thought it was just replacement brackets back there?

SO MUCH CONFUSED!!!

Hence the reason I started this thread!

Once I get into the install I plan on doing an in depth write-up on what you DON'T need to detach, cut, grind, etc...

I'll be posting pictures and maybe squeeze in a video or two showing in depth what this install really entails.

It looks easy enough, but conflicting information is making me pull my hair out.
