Hey GMFS guru's, I'm looking to pick up a cheap hauler, and after scouring Craigslist, came across this:
http://parkersburg.craigslist.org/cto/4717547982.html
2002 RCSB 4x4, 5.3L, 117k miles, seems pretty decent, but needs a transmission, among other things, like minor rust fixed on the bedsides, new front bumper, and tires. Is $2000 a good deal for it, or no?
I'm not worried about the amount of work I would have to do, I'm decently mechanically inclined and anything I can't do my Dad can help me with, so no issues there.
I already emailed the seller and she wouldn't budge on price... apparently she's invested too many new parts in it... You can all see from the pics why I'm slightly skeptical about that. :rondod:
Opinions? Should I jump on it for $2k? (This is the cheapest one I've found in my area.. people want at least 5k for the shitty trucks with 300k miles and rusted out cabs, btw)
