Getting my fender (scratched) and bumper cap (few chips from rocks) repainted, stock color, no body work needed. 658.00 is what they are charging me...am I getting swerved on here? Seems a little expensive but whatever Ive already got my truck there just wondering if it seems about right...

it may be a tad high. are they just blending them in then re clearing the whole part.
theres not much in mat. but their labor rate is probly high
repainting the parts, and re clearing the whole door as well...for blending purposes i suppose
My sister had her driver side door painted and it needed bodywork also, but it was right at 600. It was an 05 Tahoe.

i need to get into painting, shits wicked expensive! we painted my old truck for a total of like 1300 in mats, and that was buying alot of bullshit along the way

i would say thats not bad then.
thats not that bad. its alittle high but not that bad. i mean i do it for living.. you have materials, paint, and blending time. btw if the rockchips and your scratch go past the paint it needs bodywork..

nice, i stand corrected...hopefully they do the bodywork then lol...said its should be ready tomorrow...will post pics
Im with Bryan on this one i do it for a living. Does sound slightly hight but i dont know what your hourly rate is in AZ. Up here its $44/hr for sheetmetal and $24/hr for paint. It probably pays like 1.5 hrs to take the fender off then to remove the bumper cap and repair is like 3hrs and then the cost of a new fender and paint.
yea see and hourly rate at my shop is 40/hour.. its different at all different places

ur flat rate is only 24/hr for paint?? is that paint or the paint and materials. cause we do 40 sheet metal and 40 paint(i believe) and then 26 paint and materials. also im confused with what u said they were doing my guess would been take bumper off then cap off feather rock chips, feather scratch, bondo if necc, do some primage if necc. and then prep rest way and paint.

thats what ours runs also.
