Lately everytime I get behind the wheel of my truck i get pissed. It all started when i relocated my carrier bearing bracket that came with my DJM flip kit higher by welding it up further on the stock crossmember. There is a thud noise when I do any more than idle off the line in either forward or reverse. Also, everytime I hit the brake or gas (this just started yesterday) I hear a new thud sort of noise. The u-joints are fine, gear lash is normal in the rearend, all shocks, control arms, leaf springs and stuff are tight. The only thing I know for a fact is broken is my drivers ball joint, but i think its in the driveline. ANy help?

Could be in your rearend. oops...I mean your rear axle.:insane:

My work van had the same noise for about a week or 2.(we overload it all the time.) It finally stripped a gear and could not go any where. Just check the gears in the axle.
