ok i noticed the nuts on the top of my shocks arent super tight how can i tighten them down without the bodiy of the shock just turning??????
and rzther then two posts my leaf spring bolt the top one wont come out so i can install my lowerin shackles what can i do without needing new bushings?????

you need a shock key...

there is a sweet spot where you have to jack the axle up just to the right point to get the upper bolt out...too high and the bolt stays tight...too low and the frame gets in the way and is stuck in...remove the lower bolt FIRST when replacing shackles.

so remove the lower bolt then just ajust with a jack as i get the upper bolt loose????
and what does this shock key look like cause ther just belltech nitro2's

Remove the lower bolt, then jack the axle up until the top bolt is over the frame rail.

Sometimes the shocks have a little groove at the top or bottom of the stud so you could hold it with a little wrench.

should room for an 8mm on top of the shock to stop the shaft from spinning.
