My wheels should be here in a few weeks and I'm still trying to decide on what size tire I want to run. Right now I'm running the stock 17 in. GMC alloys w/ 245/70/17. I posted a thread previously where most replied to running 275/40/20.

I just want to make sure I have enough tire on the 20's so it doesn't look like I'm running rubber bands and also to protect the rims from getting bent. I believe my stock tires are 31 in. tall and the 275 series are 29 in. tall.

Is anyone running anything taller than a 275 series tire and are you experiencing rubbing issues?

Thanks

I think the 275/40/20 looks perfect!!! Im running a 275/45/20 and am looking to drop to a 4/6 and i know ill have some rubbing and ill prolly have to roll my fenders. Vicred is running a 275/40 and it sits perfectly, just the right amount of fender gap if you ask me!!!
