So I'm buying new rims and tires. I have an 06 2500hd and running 285 75 r 16 right now. I wanna get something wider and a little taller. I ve decided on getting xd badlands chrome 18 X 9 with 18 mm offset. I do like the looks of toyo open country Mt. I don't want to put a lift on so I was wondering how big I can go with out doing g to much to my truck. I already have the front valance notched. Anyone running something like that. I really don't wanna go anything bigger that a 35 x 12.5.

295 70 18 nitto trail grappler. has an insane load index of 129Q and will wear like steel and ride like glass.

it will/should also fit perfectly with that wheel/tire/lift setup.

exact dimensions are 34.57" tall by 11.73" wide

Toyo M/Ts and XD rims? Sure guy, why don't you get the same rims and tires as every other bro rig out there. It's kinda like when women all want the same coach purse because their friends have it. Or you could do some research on a set of tires and rims that set your truck apart from the rest.

Because Toyos are the only "great tire" with "awesome reviews"? I'm just old school and tired of seeing so many offroad wannabes nowadays. It just waters down the time, effort, and skills that guys developed over years in the garage building their dream trail rigs and these other guys with good credit go and finance a lifted truck/jeep with mud tires and fake ass beadlocks. Not trying to be a "dbag" but I'm getting tired of these mall crawlers out there burning my gas! LMAO!!

Based on the fact you used "haters" tells me a lot

Realistically, I was having a really shitty morning and I definitely could've commented in a way more helpful way. I don't mean to be a hater and to be honest I don't know why that would tell you a lot. Anyways, to each their own and regardless of what I said I definitely appreciate any advice I can get and have gotten from knowledgable sources. People just need to stop being so damn sensitive.

I was far from being sensitive. You came in sounding all high and mighty. Toyo mt was one of the best tires I have ever had. You just sounded like a keyboard warrior. New member no pictures of what you drive talking about all these offroad heros that were built not bought over wheels and tires. You sounded like the sensitive one.

Would the tires still fit with a -12 instead of 18? And I've been like at wheels and tires forever. There the only ones I like. I love my master craft tires but they don't make them in a size I want so that's why I'm choosing those tires
