My dad ordered a 2007 sierra (nnbs) today, and he ordered it with the leveling kit. you guys know what he can fit on there? he wants to upgrade to either 18s or 20s and run something wider/taller. Looking for 18x9s or 20x8.5 with something around 33" tall. Anyone know what'll fit AND look good?

been wondering the same thing bro. Ive been told a 33x12.50 can fit with no issues at all. I would love to try and be the first to test the waters with it but I decided I am just going to wait to see somebody elses setup firt. Make sure you post pics man, I would love to see it.

Just did the leveling kit on my dad's '07 today...he has the factory 20's with 275/55-20 tires from GM...there is definetly room for larger rubber on there...looking into 305/55-20 Toyo A/T's as an upgrade.

i was bout to say the same
I was checking out an 07 when I was at the dealer dropping off my truck and it looks like 33x12.50 will fit with some trimming of the plastic inner fender well. There looks to be more room on the 07s than the previos gen trucks. 35s look like they might fit on stock rims, I know Dodge and Fords with leveling kits can fit 35's it would be nice if the new GM trucks have enough room. Looks like it will take some time before more people start expirementing with their trucks.
Before i lifted, i just had the leveling kit and my 35x14.50s fit on there but they rubbed some of the plastic right behind the tire, didnt even hit the lower valence in the front. I think with a little trimming, it would have been fine. Stock wheels and 35x12.50s would be even better

wish you had some pics of that setup. That would build my self confidence so much more...haha:anitoof:

so do you think a 20x9 (4.5" backspace) with a 33x12.5 would fit on there? What width/backspacing are your wheels?
I would think they would fit fine. Maybe some minor trimming. I think the wheels i have are 20x9s with 4.5" backspacing.
I think Southern2500 is running 305 55 20's on some aftermarket wheels with no leveling kit and no rubbing. Those tires measure out to 33.3x12.
I have the same question, and lack of confidence as Southern 2500, I'd like to get something bigger, but I want to see someone else's first :anitoof:
