Very cool project, but when you do the videos I would suggest making the music a little quieter or speaking a little louder. I find that I am having to turn the volume up and down so that I can hear you without everyone else around me having to hear the music.

Fuse box and tcm moubted up, ecm is sitting place but have to make a mount for it, waiting on some uhd plastic to come. The tcm is bolted up underneath the ecm.

Cut the hood latch up to make it work and test fit the oem radiator hoses. Bottom hoses are going to work top hose not so much, probably going to build something out of aluminum to match the intercooler hoses.

Yeah I think i figured out the music thing, the software im using used to have an audio leveling thing that did it automatically but it doesn't seam to work after the updates, ill have to do it manually on the following videos.

Tackled the mounting of the ecm today. Mounted some punched angle iron to it with the screw holes that hold the back plate on. Then sandwiched them between some plastic and bolted it up to two pieces of flat iron i welded onto the main mount for the fuse panel.

kind of pisses me off this cheap ace hardware rust stop paint looks this good with almost no effort. Only prep was a heavy wire wheel on a grinder to clean up rust and some wax and grease remover. Sprayed it with a primer gun that I didnt even bother setting up, just pulled it out of tbr drawer and sprayed 😂

Passenger fender installed and started mocking up the air intake. I really wish I had a tig welder. Dam spool gun doesn't work for shit on this thin stuff. Its either set too hot and blows through or too low and the arc randomly wanders, ill be grinding, sanding and polishing it anyway. I was planning on reusing the coolant tank but its just not going to fit nicely so shiny aluminum one it is.

I'm a little late to the game, but on the WFO SAS kit. What kind of upward travel from ride height are you expecting? And how much lift do you think it'll end at?

It should have 4 inches of up travel and 4 of down travel. Its supposed to be 3 inches of lift but based off the amount of lean I still have with brand new leafs and 1 inch blocks it'll be closer to 4-5" of lift which might be from the fact that it is considerably lighter then a crew cab pickup, might end up ordering some different springs for it if it rides like shit lol

Can't complain about that.
Stock Jeep Wrangler JK has 4" up, and 4" down.

Does that WFO kit use a flat pitman? Or a drop pitman?

On the 3 inch kit its flat. I think the 6 and 9-12 kit use offset arms

Intake pipe is finished up and ready for polish. Made a diy bead roller to finish it up today. Need to build the air box yet so its not just hanging out.

new overflow tank has been ordered today as well, and filled out a quote request for vintage air goodies. Looks like 1300ish for what I need.
