Installing oil pan and broke one of the long bolts on rear of pan. I got it out and got another bolt just don't want to break another one. The book says 18ft lbs but the other one broke before my torque wrench clicked. Just wanted to know what you guys think. Thanks

18 ft lb is for all the bolts except the two long bolts, they're 106 in lb or about 9 ft lb. Been there, done that, lol.

Thanks. I found the correct specs on the silveradosierra forum. The haynes manual I have has 89in lbs for all except rear 2 and 18ft lbs for rear 2. I guess somebody got it mixed up.

damn you broke one? I stripped my rear cover on the tahoe I think. wasnt thinking when I put it in, one turn to many and she got loose. Live and learn lol.
