When I had mine lifted I did 8 turns and got about 1.5 inches. They are all different due to wear. So mine might be 8 turns for 1.5 inches higher and for someone else with same truck could be 5 turns for same height. You just have to keep measuring and keep turning, just don't turn too much. Also remember that they will have to settle and you will need an alignment when done.

make sure you have at least five or six lines of thread left on the bolt after cranking. Anything past those five or six lines feels like you have a two by four for a seat and cement blocks for tires
