Does anybody know if Royal Purple makes a fluid that is compatible with the Autotrac transfer case, or am I stuck using GM fluids?

Thanks

The autotrac cases use a special fluid thats blue in color IIRC. Its for the special clutches.

I can't offer any insight into Royal Purple's line up of fluids though as Ive never used them.

GM p/n 12378508 for the blue Autotrac fluid.

Originally and specifically for Autotrac transfer cases, but works in all as a red ATF replacement.

The stuff is one of the slipperiest oils available and helps the chain and sprockets run cool and smooth.

Blue Autotrac Fluid > ATF

As far as a synth replacement for it, i have no idea.. It's awesome shit all by itself, I run it in my Denali's NV149
