Transmission Problems...
I have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe with 4.56 gears and 35 inch tires
The problem is this: I was driving upstate 2 months ago and the tranny started losing gears...it lose overdrive then proceded to lose them all till all that remained were 1st and 2nd. The result was having the transmission rebuilt. Well I decide to take a semi long trip (over an hour of highway driving? I notice that about 45 minutes into the trip I lose overdrive...well I made it there let the truck sit overnight. Check it the next day its ok OD works...while driving home after a prolong drive ti loses overdrive again. whats going on? It has fluid and it seems to have enough coolant in the radiator. I am wondering if this is the same problem I encoutered last time and if I continue to drive it this one will blow as well. any help would be great
