I have a 09 with the 4.8l. When I'm on the highway doing 70 mph and ease on the gas my rpms go up but the truck doesn't take off. Anyone else have this problem or know what's wrong? Thanks

how much do the rpm's go up? sounds like it could be slipping..

how many miles on the truck? did you check your transmission fluid level?

They go up 1500 rpms but if I just put my foot in it it takes off. Truck has 116,000 trans oil is good

sure its not just the converter unlocking?

I've never had a truck do this. It's like the motor will rev and back off. I'll try to get a video and post it up.
