how well do these LQ4 truck intakes flow? i just put some longtubes on the truck, and want to do an intake mani swap if its a worthwile swap... i found a lingenfelter intake mani with a 90mm throttle body for $450 and also a Wiend air ram intake mani for $450... i realize these were made for the ls1 powered cars and read that the truck intakes flow better than the car ls1 intakes... they claim 12-15rwhp gain on these manifolds for the cars... would it be worth it to slap either one of these on my LQ4?

The taller runners on the truck manifolds make for more torque over the ls1 car style manifolds. If you were to do the swap, look into a tbss manifold/tb setup. Cheaper than a FAST and better fitment than the Edelbrock.

Any of the aluminum intakes are garbage. Can you say heat sink. Unless you have cash flowing out of your ass, do the TBSS swap, if are rich, hit the Fast LSXRT.

im also boosting the truck soon. i have a vortech v-2 kit in the garage... i just thought maybe those would flow better and be better for boost than plastic, but im sure it can take it. ill look for a tbss manifold
