alright fellas I got bored and decided to start this thread on your suggestions of good preventitive maintenance for my truck. It is a 1995 ecsb Z71 w/ 5.7 350 TBI w/ 160,000 miles. It is lifted with 35's and 4.56's... I have owned it 6 years and the only things I have done are

  • water pump
    fuel filter
    cap/rotor
    plugs/wires
    serp belt
    air filter

I'm lookin for some small things to do to just help boost the life of the engine..Im about to try the sea foam & stp gas treatment...is there anything else I can do? just throw out things that have worked well for you, appreciate it guys

Since you did the water pump, this has already been done, but I think one of the most overlooked items is the cooling system flush. People will let it sit in there for 15 years so long as it's at level and doesn't overheat. Dex-cool...100k miles? Bullshit:read:

I know you've changed the oil even though it isn't listed. You may think about servicing the tranny and difs.

Also, what happened to that really cool sig you had?
(I've got better software now if you need a new one)

do you honestly mean to tell me that you do all that stuff to all of your rides every year? You'd spend $2000 a year just on routine stuff, not to metion actually repairs.
