I can't find a lot of info on the Circle-D converter, both are 278mm and stall at the same rpm.

It's for an '06 Silverado 5.3 rcsb 4x4, 212/218 low lift cam, 4.10 gears, truetrac, headers. It's my DD and it's used like a truck, never see the track.

Need opinions please.

That'll be nice, besides I've read it's more durable, and cheaper too. Hard to beat that I guess.

Thanks

i used to have a similar truck as yours, however i had 3.73s and the stock cam. i had a TT3000 for about 18 months and loved it. it feels pretty much like stock until you mash the pedal and it goes right to 3K.

i can't speak for the Circle D converter, but i've heard only good things about their converters. like John said, you'll be happy with either of them.

I think he'd be happier with ANYTHING aside from the killer stock 1600rpm stall GM stuck us with initially. :)

Thanks for your comments.

Is a re-tune needed with a mild stall like this?
