I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71 with the 5.3L, 3.73 gears.
I have a cold air intake, and Borland exhaust.
Recently purchased a SCT iTSX tuner, it works great as far as just being nice to use with just my phone.
Only problem, I don't understand the adjustments and the user manuals aren't a much help so I'm wondering what all this does and approximately where I should set the the stuff.
I set octane at 93
Timing 0-2000... 0 to -14
Timing 2000-4000.... 0 to -14
Timing 4000-6500... 0 to -14
WOT Shift 1-2... -5 to +5mph
WOT Shift 2-3... Same
WOT Shift 3-4... Same
Shift Firmness 1-2... -25 to +25%
2-3... Same
3-4... Same
WOT Fuel/Air Ratio... 0 to 10%
And then I understand the Neutral and Drive rev limiters.
I'm just clueless where to put the other stuff.
Was thinking there was a just a Performance, towing and economy tune but they don't pop up.
