So This had me beat and I thought maybe it happened to somebody else, The turn signals in my 04 sierra 1500 started fritzing out. Ive replaced the flasher relay and several bulbs, checked the fuses. All the lights work on the truck as intended except now, when I hit my brakes the turn signal rapid-fire blinks in the front and shuts off in the rear..let go of the brake and the turn signal works perfect. Any ideas??

Most rapid flash is caused by installing LED's without a resistor. Not sure in your case as you didn't specify what type of bulbs being used.

Sounds to me like you have your brake wire and your turn signal wire mixed up. I’d check the brake / turn signal in the rear and make sure they’re wired correctly.

Another thing to check, is the rear signal / brake block under the rear passenger side. It has several wire connections, and is pretty susceptible to road hazards, as it’s not really protected at all. Trace the leads from the passenger taillight and you’ll find it.
