Un-doing a 4" Lift?

724 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  1990z71
I have been thinking of lifting the 97 Hoe. I have been reading past post about different types of lifts and have a question. As bad as 2-3" lifts suck (so I read) it seems to me that it would be very easy to un-do them if I decide to lower it before I sell it one day. On the flip side I have read several installs about "real" lifts that require you to cut alot of bracketry and diff housings but are supposedly a better choice of lifting. So here's the question... is there a 4" kit out there that will be fairly easy to take off one day or should I stick to the 2-3" kits? All I want to run is some 33's to make my DD look a little better. And I tow my trail-rig (over 5k lbs with trailer and equipment) with this Tahoe so 4" is definately as high as I want to go. Oh yeah and don't even mention Bodylifts... they blow monkey balls. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hey yall....this is my first post on here..just registered!! this site is awesome! :head: some of ya might kno me from fullsizechevy.com.Ive got the same name over there too......BUT NE WAY, you could always just buy a pair of Ford keys, and a set of add-a-leafs out back..if all ur really lookin for is a better appearance, the ability to run 33's, not go over 4 inches of lift, not get a body lift, and have an easy un-install...I think doin ford keys and aal's is for you! just my 2 cents though..
