hello, i am new to the fourm and i have an important question, i have a 1984 chevy 3/4 ton 6'' suspension lift 36'' super swampers, anyhow my question is my bed seems to be cocked to the right, what i mean by that is the gap between the bed and the cab is noticeably different, the right side is gapped at least 1/1/4 and the left side is less than an inch, is this fixable, or is my frame bent? bought the truck like it is so you never know what some tweaker has done to it, i should also add that the truck is sitting on level ground so thats not the problem, any advice would be greatly appreciated. please help me out!! I am so stumped.

Not the original box maybe? Could have been replaced and not put on straight?

How do you straiten it? Do I hafta drill out the bed bolt holes or loosen the bed to maneuver it, what's yalls advice?

I'd loosen the bolts and see if it can be adjusted that way

Meaning the bed is probably at an angle because of how it's mounted or shifted over time possibly, culprit is just a metaphor for it being the cause of the uneven gap

What Bone said, loosen the bolts on the box and see if you can straighten it. You can also look at your frame and see if it is bent.

Also very possible, truck is 30 years old, a lot can happen In that time
