Thinking about upgrading my current setup since its over 10 years old and it seems to be getting tired. Wanting some more clearer sound and deeper bass. Currently have 2 Treo 10s and a zapco i4100 with mb quart components. I have been talking to a local place that I know and they are pretty big on image dynamics and phoenix gold. They built up a package of: 2 IDQ.4 subs, ID CXS components, and phoenix gold SX1200.1 and phoenix gold SX600.1 amps or the image dynamics Q600.1 and Q1200.1 amps. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm a big fan of Phoenix Gold amps. Had one in my last build and got one in this truck. Don't have much experience with image dynamics. Never heard anything bad about the stuff though. Sounds interesting....

I don't like PG but ID is good stuff. What's your budget and what are you looking to get out of the system?

No budget really in mind but just looking for crisper, cleaner, deeper sound i guess.

I have the image dynamics components in my ferd running off an older eclipse amp. Clean, clear, not too bright of tweeters which iis what i was looking for. No complaints.

Clearer sound and deeper bass can be had by not having Treo. :happy175:

As I'm sure you can guess, my money is on Sundown SD3 10's http://www.emfcaraudio.com/sundown-audio-sd-3-10-dual-4/ with an SAE-1000d http://www.emfcaraudio.com/sundown-audio-sae-1000d-v2/. The Image Dynamics stuff is pretty solid though.

Put Sundown SD3's in there and you'll realize how terrible the Treo are.
