I need to know the pinion nut size on a 98 astro rear axle. I think its a 7.5" 10 bolt but not sure on this. Anyone?

From my research i found that the pinion nut size is a 7.5, they actaully have it listed as 7.625 for the years 90-01, and the later model ones are 7.5, i dunno if that helps any.

Yeah this should be the correct size for the Astro, because it is the same as an S10. My S10 I had before had a "7.625".

Guys you are looking at the ring gear size. That is most definately not what he's talkin about. He needs to know the size of the PINION NUT.

anyone know for a 8.5" 10 bolt its the same nut, also the semi float 14 bolt.

ill do it tomarow if no one knows off hand, i just dont feel like pulling the shaft off is someone already knows. Yeah im lazy.
