I was looking at getting the pioneer ts-d1702c for my truck. i have always loved the way the d-series pioneer sounded, the ones with the yellow cones. I also have the 6.5" and 6x9" coaxes on my bagger and they sound great. My question is has anyone had any experience with mounting depth of either the mid or the tweeter in the factory location.

you should be fine, if not make a 1/2" spacer out of mdf
