I'm looking at getting a vacuum in my garage for auto detailing any suggestions?

i just use a shop vac purchased from cheapo depot! you can buy a metro vac to be mounted on the wall but they are pricey

Shop vac, maybe a smaller model so you can get in to tight spots.

I'd recommend either a Shop Vac or check out the offerings from MetroVac. I personally use an old Dyson and a Shop Vac.

I have a brand new shop vac and that thing only has half the suction as my local car wash vacs

I have a stainless ridgid shopvac that I use for quick cleaning/general outdoor use. When I spend a little more time on a car the wife will let me use the rainbow

Get a J.E. Adams vac installed in your house. That's what my neighbor did...but he owns a carwash. He has it piped throughout the house so that his wife can just insert a hose and use it to vacuum the house.

That's pretty much what I have now and the suction is just not great. Also the size of the hose just seems to be too big

Mine has a long hose and another thats shorter but stretches out like a slinky. Love that i can turn it on/off from the hose end too...no need to run back to the vacuum.

Is the suction good? Are the attachments that come with it adequate to clean between the seats?

its way stronger than my lil roller and WAY quieter too....ud think its not strong cuz its quiet but sucks good. I use the thin attachment to get in between the seats but its a tight squeeze for any hose.
