My truck has a 6" super lift bracket lift kit on it. I regeared the back axle and took out the front drive shaft until I could regear the front axle.

Once I regeared the front axle i put the drive shaft in.

Now I get a intense vibration and almost metal on metal noise at about 55 mph. Nothing prior to that speed.

I took the front drive shaft out and with it out there is no noise/vibration.

This is the stock driveshaft so with the front axle being dropped a full six inches is it too much angle?

I had slight vibrations at 70 mph prior to my regear but i do not remember it being this severe.

Is this the drive shaft, or do I have a bigger issue.

I put a manual case in the truck as the push button one failed. To the best of my knowledge the tcase and the front axle are function properly.

Thanks for y'alls input.

Yes, they will squeak or cause a pretty bad metal on metal noise. The grease inside will dry up causing some bad noises and vibration, especially since now they are at such an angle.

You need the dual cardon cv style driveshaft superlift offers. Had it on my truck, no vibes.
