Well, after 3 years of putting up with no low end from the factory BOSE stuff, I'm really starting to look at my options. I'm thinking about two 10's in a box from subthump. I was just looking at the JL Audio 10w6v2 and they look real nice. The box I was looking at has a mounting depth of 7" and each side has .92 cubic feet of air space. All these numbers seem to work together since the subs need 6.9" of depth and between .50-1.00 cubic feet in a sealed enclosure. I haven't decided on an amp yet, but maybe a JL 500/1 I've never personally owned any JL stuff, but I knew a few people that did and I was impressed, plus their reputation is great far as I can tell. Anyway I just wanted some of your opinions on the set-up and see whether or not that would be too much for the other stock BOSE speakers to keep up with. Let me know what you think.
