Has anyone done this recently, and what are the costs? I have a 2006 GMC Sierra, would like to add the factory trans temp, I assume I need a new gauge cluster and sender with a little wiring. I've doen ths before with an aftermarket gauge, but i want to keep this one stock looking. Any help appreciated!

You need just the other cluster. All the wiring and sensors are already there. Just swap the cluster and you're good to go.

Check out e-bay. Usually have alot on there. You just need to get the mileage re programmed if you're worried about it.

US Speedo also has a kit to add it to your cluster. It involves some soldering though.

I was able to get a new unit from US Speedo from a 2006 Escalade, it looks a little fancy compaired to the stock unit, it works great, and was easy to swap out. Thanks for all the help here.
