I don't understand something...the last time I filled up, I reset the trips, fuel used and MPG. I pulled into the gas station today and put 19.293 gallons in the truck, yet the display said I used 22.x gallons...how is this possible?

Also, for a 2006 Duramax Sierra 2500HD crew cab short bed, what is the fuel tank size (gallons)? How do I find this information out?

Are guys putting bigger tanks in their trucks? Can someone point me to some resources for this?

im pretty sure its 26 gallons and it should say in your manual, For the fuel tank i think theres a company called Titan tanks--could be wrong.

If you don't fill it all the way up the neck it won't be right. Also if it's chipped it will be off. EFI does have a table you can change to make it right again though. Also some are off some stock anyway. Mine was right on though, and is pretty good now after I changed the table in EFI. Tank is 26, light should come on when there's 5 gallons left supposedly.
