first of all, i didnt know it was that deep. i almost made it across and my bumper was underwater but thats as close as i got to getting out. had a friend with a 68 gmc on a 12" lift w/ 44's pull me out like it was nothing. carpet was soaked in 1-2 inches of water. torque converter case hit a rock or board or sumthing and a piece of metal got caught in the flywheel and tore the hell out of the case. also put a hole in my rear passenger side tire so now im rollin on my spare. heres some pics of the aftermath. these r just various shots of how dirty it is:

these r of the broken torque converter case. those small metal things were stuck in the flywheel. i put them in my hand so u can see how big they are.

 woops. Sucks that you broke shit, luckily its not that dirty. The water inside does suck though. Lower? Just do a 4x4 conversion/sfa swap on some big meats then you wont have the problem of getting stuck in shit like that again!

yeah I tore up the front end of my red 94 Blazer 2x going mudding. It was getting pretty bad and loose under there till I decided to lower it and replace almost everything in the front end other than the A-arms

Man, I'm surprised you made it that far through that hole. It must have just dropped off at the end tho, and the bottom must hot have been too soft. I'd be afraid to try that in my truck...Me and my truck have had a few bad experiences in water.

yeah i almost made it too. in the first pic u can kinda see where i came in at. right above the top of the truck next to that yellow pole. when i got out i sunk into the mud a good 4-5 inches. the back tires were just burried.

also since everyone here is into boggin and all that, what all should i check to make sure everythings ok? i was stuck like that for a good 20 minutes. my buddy that pulled me out said it'd be a good idea to change the oil and the gear oil in the rear end just in case i got water in it. so if theres anything else i should check please let me know. thanks

Just let the truck sit for an hour and drain a tad of fluid out of the diff into a clear cup, if its muddy or has water in it change it, if not your ok. Do the same for your tranny/engine if you want. Chances are your ok. Letting it sit will let the water/mud sink to the bottom of teh diff/pan.

I've been stuck like that before, and had mud/water seep into the cab and soak the carpet. Yours still looks pretty clean, just wet. Mine was MUD. It was a bitch to get halfway clean, and I didnt even get it all. After several hours of scrubbing and steam cleaning, I just said "fuck it" and havent messed with it since.

One thing you might want to do though is pull up the carpet and spray the padding underneath with Lysol, so that it doesnt get mildew (and stink like hell). Lysol works wonders.
