OK guys so I'm drivin my truck today and the tranny starts slippin between 2-3 gear...not very bad you could just tell it was slippin. My ? is if I have it flushed and the filter changed do yall think it will give her some more life or should I just go get a bottle of lucas and ride on it as long as I can???

Alot of techs use type F transmission fluid to buy a few more months of use. Type F is good since the new stuff is designed to slip but type F is use in the old vehicles that were made to shift hard, firm . Alot of times you will flush the trans and it will slip more since the friction material isnt in the fuild anymore it new clean fluid making the trans slip more. But i would make sure its slipping from a friction clutch problem not hydralic problem......
