You're the second person to say that. FMF actually has a pretty extensive lineup for street bikes. I just wanted a shorty style muffler, so I made one out of the pipe I already had on the bike.

Tons of people do this... I cut two different undertail mufflers on my ninja zx6 because they didnt come out flush with the tail. Always looks and sounds way better

You'd think after cutting 9 1/8" of muffler off it would be ridiculous, but it's not. While it is noticeably louder, it's not obnoxious sounding. Lopes like it's got a cam at idle now.
