They weren't fast on the street, why not? I'd run the fuck outta it.

They'd throw you back in your seat from 0-20. After that, nothing.

I still :nono: at what he did.

I don't get it? How is that a waste? the truck sucked stop, might as well do something with it.
with a little modifications those trucks were badass. they were so choked down from the factory it was ridiculous. IIRC they were 290hp out of a 454? WTF
I love the 454SS trucks, what a fucking waste. That thing looks like shit now.

:word: No replacement for displacement. It's a gnarly platform to start from.
502 transfer case haha
I fail to see how that's a waste. When I bought my truck, I almost bought an SS fully intending to lift it. At the time, I didn't feel comfortable swapping to a different t-case , so now I don't have a 6.0 or 14bsf. :nono:

You wouldnt have had a 14sf anyway, they have 10 bolts.
Its just a rcsb with a shitty motor in it.

I'm almost certain the 454SS rigs had 5 lug 14bsf's.
prolly wasn't even a real ss truck

Yea but he was talking about 03+ SS'. Only the 2wd ones had a 14sf, the AWD ones, which he mentioned, were 10 bolts.
