I need them for my LPP headers which slip together.

The first ones are for a slip joint so use those. The 2nd ones are for a butt joint. They wont work. Dynotech has some nice slip joint ones that have a sealer in the joint so it doesnt leak... at least I think it was Dynatech.

Ok thanks. I wanted to get the first ones but my friend works at a parts store and has the second ones that I could of bought for cheap. I didn't because I didn't think they would work though.

For 43 bucks a pop I will stick with the regular band clamps..

I HATE V-bands but I had a bad experience with them. My turbo hot parts had them and the piped had to be aligned perfectly to work. When youre snaking a trubo kit through the front K member of an F body, its next to impossible to aign everything perfect. For headers on these trucks, they would be nice though.
