Okay so im going to order up my gears, Im doing 5.13s but thats all i know.

4wp has 3 diffrent kits
1.Genuine Gear (Front and rear and Master over haul kits) 423.99
2.PG Precision gears(Front and rear and master over haul kits) 499.99
3. G2 premium Front and Rear Gears and master over haul kits 489.99

And then Summit carries a couple diffrent brands Motive and Supurior gear.
*the guy from sumit said i could not run richmond gears because of ABS :think:

Which gears should i run and fair price yes or no. Any other options too. Some on here sells them too rigth dark ertheal(SP) sorry or something too right. Thanks

I have a Factory locker too, will that affect anything .

gotta have the bear on the box :imo

avoid genuine gears like the plague... and toss your stock """locker""" in the trash with your stock gears

what rear end and front end do i have like (10 bolt 8.5 or what i have front and rear)

Will the stock locker work with diffrent gears too or will i really have to just toss it away.

8.25 front and uhh i think nbs are 8.6 or some shit but its a 10blt and the POS g80 will uhh if you wanna call it work with new gears, buts not worth its weight in scrap

Will it work with new gears? yes

Will it leave you stranded who knows where on the side of the road? probably

Will it do the above with 39"+ tires? I promse it will, no if's and's or but's, just a matter of time.

What kinda of locker can i get for the rear then.

definitely get the precisions out of those you listed, that or the yukons are great too, i have precision 5.13s, but not installed yet, oh and detroit tru trac for the rear, toss out the gov bomb g80 especially with those 39.5s

Another vote for precision....

For the rear id say get either a Detroit truetrac or a Detroit locker.

Although the truetrac on a 10 bolt says not to use a tire larger than 32 inches in diameter. Heres the manual if you want to look.

If you do have a 14 bolt it isn't listed in the manual but i emailed eaton/detroit and they said it was plenty strong enough for my 37s

I have to agree with the above statement, and if you have the extra cash I would go to a selectable locker in the rear.:crazy:

yukon :imo I had yukon's lsd put in to replace my g80 and be a little more friendly for my 10 bolt. it works great for me.

What does everyone have againts MOTIVE GEAR. I put them in my Burb and have had them over a year and no problems as of yet

Precision and a TruTrac you will be set!

Heard some good things about the tru trac and plan to get one soon here myself

What does everyone have againts MOTIVE GEAR. I put them in my Burb and have had them over a year and no problems as of yet
I dont think anyone said anything bad about Motive, they make a decent set of gears, but there are better out there

Yukon also makes a posi set up for my truck both about the same price.

But will ether be okay.

Also for all who already dont know im going to run yukon gears front and rear.
