Finally installed the under the tailgate LED strip, and verified it works for stop and turns. Need to figure out where to tie in the wire for the backup. Next will be tying the backup camera in, too. I picked up a 4-pin Y splitter to easily hook them in, with a replacement 7-pin trailer connector and 4-pin all-in-one, which I got from Amazon.

Found that some JERK actually STOLE the rubber cover I had installed over my hitch, WHILE it was IN my driveway!! And I live on a cul-de-sac, so it's not like they could get in and out without being seen. AARRGGHH!! I HATE dirty thieves!!! It wasn't like it was terribly expensive (only $8 on eBay), but it's the PRINCIPLE of the thing! Just made me MAD!!! WHY do people think that it's alright for them to do that?! Would THEY like it if someone else did that to THEM? I HIGHLY doubt it!! So, WHY do THEY do it to ANYONE else?!!

I feel it. Some asshole siphoned the diesel out of my truck twice sitting in my driveway. $150 worth each time. A guy in the neighborhood next to ours had a locking gas cap and they just drilled a hole in the bottom of his tank.

And I live in a pretty decent neighborhood, but I guess you don't go to the projects to steal stuff...

Yeah, I put on a locking gas cap to keep people from being able to siphon mine off, though mine was only $100 to fill up. I heard that some people were having their tanks drilled to get the gas out. I figured the locking gas cap might make it harder for them to get it, but if they really want it that bad, they'll find a way. Thankfully, I haven't lost any fuel, YET, and I hope they don't do that to me.
I live in a decent neighborhood, too, but they are doing some construction on the road next to the house, so maybe it was one of the crew who got it. Sucks when you can't even trust City workers working on the roads to leave your stuff alone!

Get a truck monkey.
If folks wouldn't consider it "animal abuse", I'd get a big ol' pit bull or rottwiler and keep him in the bed of the truck, with plenty of food and water, and a spot where he can get some shade from the sun. Don't think lots of folks would like that, though.

Anyone know of any issues with idler pulleys on 2021+ Silverados? Truck has 19,XXX and it’s making a loud chirp noise(similar to when PS pump goes out). Idler Pulley bolt is pretty hot to the touch.

Also, would this be something covered under MFG warranty?

Regards.

Everything that goes wrong, unless it's operator error or due to an aftermarket part, is covered under warranty until your bumper to bumper warranty is up.

In for an oil change and alignment check today. For some reason I keep having a cupping problem with the tires. Truck is stock other than the 295's so gonna let the extended warranty deal with this one.
Also hit a new milestone today.

She'll be at 100k by September, I think.
This is also the first time I don't want to trade for a new truck, I genuinely like this truck. Looking into DFM delete and possible Magnuson or Whipple for when the warranty runs out in 2024. Might start collecting the parts.

Just today, I spent quite a significant amount of time working on my GMC Sierra. First and foremost, I gave it a thorough wash, ensuring every nook and cranny was free of dirt and grime. Next, I inspected the tires and checked their pressure – adjusting it as needed for optimal performance. I also replaced the air filters, ensuring that the engine can breathe properly and run more efficiently. Furthermore, I checked and topped off all the necessary fluids – brake fluid, coolant, power steering fluid, and windshield wiper fluid.
