Is there anyway to find out what gear i have without pulling the differential cover off? The owner's manual says it will either be 3.42's or 3.73's. It is probably 3.42's, but I need to verify that before I get my tune! I was going to change the fluid anyway, but I don't have to pull the cover to do it. I was surprised to see a drain on the bottom of the diff!

on the sticker that is in the glove box, i dont know what they all are but my code for 3.42's is GU6(i think thats it).
Im sure others will chime in

i dont know the RPO codes.. but if you mark your drive shaft with chalk and count how many times it spins with one rotation of the wheel, then that will tell ya...

look in your glove box :read:

GU6 = 3.42
GT4 = 3.73
GT5 = 4.10
