[1996 Yukon]

for about a week now my yukon wont go into od and a couple times when i went to go into reverse it just coasted like in nuetral. what could be cause the problem with od? i checked the trans running in neutral and it was just fine. should i change the fluid or even get a flush? it is a rebuilt 4l60e btw

Sounds like it needs to be rerebuilt.

check the fluid with it hot and in park... after youve driven it.

it shifts nice and firm but wont go into od unless ive driven awhile and im always goin atleast 45 most of the time in the mid 50s. ill check it later on hot in park but ive always been told to check it in neutral.

I lost OD first and third wasn't far behind right before my rebuild

do like stated earlier and check your fluid level. but kinda sounds like a weak pump or an electrical problem...How long ago was it rebuilt?
