easy way to tell for those confused. 4l60e has 16 pan bolts, 4l80e has 17 pan bolts

4l60e is in all newer half tons, tahoes, burbans etc... 4l80e is in the HDs etc... unless you have a manual or allison

Its come in alot of different cars/trucks. My '94 has one...be better to ask a specific car.

ok I am going to take the shifter off the column and put it in my center console :gay: and instead of after market I want a factory look

Ah...ok...you'll probably wanna pick the auto setup from a camaro or firebird/formula. Try to get the cable and the linkage off the trans brackets too....
