Im trying to buy wheels/tires within the next month. I want Granite Alloy GA6.6 22's in chrome, and some 40 series tires. I plan on dropping it 2/4's after I buy the wheels and tires. What would be a couple of the best options for me to go with. I am also not sure on what tire to get, only looking to spend around $6-800, since the wheels are gonna be $1200. Thanks alot.

285/40/22 Falken or 285/50/22 Nitto 420S <--that's what I'm running with my 2/4.

plenty of room? Eh, not really. There is room, but not PLENTY.

It all depends on the offset as well. If your wheels sit even with the fenders, then I wouldnt recommend a 285/40 on a 3/5. Mine sit just inside the fender, so I could get away with as much of a drop in the rear as I want with the 285/40, but the front is another story. I think in the front, I could easily do a 3" drop but anything over that is pushing it (I have a 22x8.5 in front with 265/40/22).

FYI.. my rear is a 22x10 with 285/40...

Do they rub at all? I'm planning on running the nittos on my obs tahoe with 22" kmcs with +12mm offset and I'm not sure if they will fit with my 2/2 drop.
my wheels are 22x9.5 with a 14 offset and 285/40 and the edge of my tire is getting shredded by the front fender lips inside. this is only on big dips in the road. and im running a 2/4

I would say you would have to at least +30-35 mm. I believe even if u had a 35 mm offse with a 285 there is a chance of rubbing if you dont roll the lip. But this is my opion and from what i have read on other posts.
