It's fine. The "kit" parts are incredibly cheesy, but it's a decent soldering iron and the solder that it comes with is fine. Any cheap soldering iron will work for LEDs and such.http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062758
its about 8 dollars but the price makes it seem like its not worth it.
