So i have an old amp laying around and i want to get a sub or two and throw them in my truck. The amp is a Kicker ZX250.2. My question is what would be my best option sub wise? Lookin to get Kickers, 2 10" Kicker comps? 1 12? Not too familiar with 2 channel amps. Any help would be appreciated.

probably bridging a single sub would be your best option.. 250w rms still isnt much but enough to push a kicker.. which kicker exactly? depends on your budget

So I was wrong it's actually only a zx200.2... I'm thinking either just a single 10" kicker comp, or a 12. Not sure if a 12 will fit under the rear seat of an extended cab nnbs though. Not lookin to spend much. No more than around $150

it will, if you get the box that has a 12" hole cutout :laughing1:
you want the box and sub for 150? cause the box is 110 alone http://subthump.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_71&products_id=29

you could build a box with better specs, would be a lot cheaper

Amp is 200 watts, and a 12 won't fit for airspace or depth (sub worth having anyway). Honestly, your options are severely limited so I'm hoping all you're wanting is a little bass fill.

I ran that amp with a low rms bazooka 12 when I was in high school. It will five you some bass, but you're really just looking for a black kicker comp. You need a low rms or that amp won't do anything for you

Yeah I'm not looking to do anything crazy at all, I'm not into car audio near as much as I used to be. just figured I have the amp mind as well throw a sub in there. Probably just gonna get a 10" kicker comp.
