so I went to get gas an noticed steam coming from under the hood. opening it up it looked like coolant was getting on the fan and getting flung around the bay. so I checked the upper and lower hoses, nothing, check for a leak in the radiator itself... didnt see any.

any clues? I couldnt check the fluid levels since the truck was at running temps, but wasnt running hot.

get a pressure checker for the coolent system. allows you to put psi on the system and see where the lead is

dont see anything coming from there. Its starting to look like the edge of the shrowd managed to get wedged between the fin and the tank on the radiator. so tomorrow I guess I'll get the truck up to temp and see

maybe a small leak in the radiator? Did your truck over heat or get hotter than normal?

figured it out. turns out because I didnt put the lower part of the fan shroud on after my BL the top managed to wedge the edge of itself between the fins and the tank.... such a stupid mistake.

BUT it show that there is a reason why you dont halfass everything
