well some may know that i was going to trade my truck in on a diesel but that has all changed. so know im going with my original idea and doing the Rough Country NTD 6 inch kit. im already running a 3 inch body lift. what would be a safe tire size to run with this daily driver? my wheels are 16x10s. would a 36x14.50 be too wide? im also running a 4.10 gear, would i need to change that as well? i hardly ever use the highway.

4:56's would probably be a good idea or maybe even a little lower. The 14.5" wide tires would be a good fit on 16x10's, This would be a decent DD, keepin' gas in it will be a little more difficult.

the 4.10 is fine, yea the 4.56 would be a lil nicer though, with 6 & 3 i would just go with a 36x14.50 or either the 37x13.50, i would not go any bigger since its ur daily driver, is the truck 2 or 4 wheel drive? i no u can clear 38s with 6 & 3 on a 4 wheel drive with a 16x10 rim. but hell its ur daily driver i wouldnt go that big unless u want to

gotcha, the kit hes lookin at is the no torsion drop so he has torsion bars which it should be a 4 wheel drive unless he just took out the front diff and cv axles.

i'd go for a 4.88 gear with anything 35-37, from wut i remember you do use your truck, and 4.10 with anything bigger than a 35 your gonna be unhappy... i can't stand having my 35's w the 3.73's..

im getting about 12.5 mpg in the city using my 4.10 gears and 35 inch a/t, how much of a difference gas wise would that make for me. and also how much does it usually cost to get 4.88 gears put in.
