where to ground

am i good with the bolt holding the jack? what did you all do

no your not, its painted and not good for grounding. Best thing to do it to drill a hole and bolt it down, or screw it
^-- :word: The ground wire should connect to a bolt through the sheetmetal via a nut a lock washer. Remember to sand around the hole, the ground needs to touch bare metal. :imo

A nice big dab of electrolytic grease. Every few months - inspect and if necessary unbolt, clean and freshen everything up with a wire brush - regrease.

thats part of why you need to do the big 3 with just about any stereo system or electrical upgrade like high powered lights
I drilled a whole in my floor, installed a gromet and ran my grounds down by the body mount....

ive heard of this, guess ill have to read up on what it is exactly since I'll probably need to do it
