going to be putting switchbacks back in my truck and i was on the DDM site and they have 3 different types. I know the difference between the 60 LED and Dual 60 LED But what is the difference between the dual 60 LED and cree LED style?

Dual 60 LED:

Cree LED:

I have personally used the Dual 60 LED before and noticed that for people driving beside me on the highway its pretty damn bright, and i am sure is pretty obnoxious, so would the Cree style switchback be more of a mellow light? Would be nice to hear from someone who has actually used them, the pictures shown obviously don't help much, i feel the cree led style bulb would look better in the cleared lights also.

I could b wrong but from reading the description from the first link it says the bulb has 60 LEDs for the white and 60 LEDs for the amber which I was assume that's what the "dual 60 led" stands for since both colors have 60 LEDs each on the actual bulb.

The Cree ones are a projector style housing, only put the light out front wards. So in the dark, they look like white circles. Whereas the 60/60 Dual SMD LED's fill the whole reflector with white light, just look better/more filled out. I've tried both, using those DDM LED's.

Check out FiestyZ71's 2000 Silverado built thread in the members rides page, I posted a whole bunch of info pertaining to this, including pictures. Should be a couple pages back from the current one.

okay so like i figured the cree LED would be more of a concentrated light, but i want people to be able to see my blinker from the side too.
