Had a EQ in my fiberglass console, now deciding if it's worth cutting/adding to my 03+ console in the lower pocket. It's a Arc KEQ5 off a pioneer x910 to a Arc 1200.1 for JL 12w3s and 400.4 I think. Nothing crazy...

I used to run an eq until I found out about active capable head units. Eqs are very old school now. Still work great but not usefull if you have an active capable hu or amp

That's a problem. You need to set all your hu settings. They are there for a reason and very easy to do

I meant my EQ, might just throw it in a drawer. Deck is good, I was happy with a bass knob lol. It's not like I'm doing sound competitions!

Bass knob as in the knob that came with the amp? If so I like to call those clipping knobs. And suggest you switch it out for the pac lc1 for $15

A bass knob boost the frequency. A pac cuts off output voltage. So it's like a summer switch in a house. Way better
